Colour Saskatchewan, an adult colouring book by acclaimed Saskatchewan artist Jason Sylvestre, is now in bookstores.
Mr. Sylvestre, is one of the most talented artists working in Saskatchewan today. His work as a cartoonist and graphic artist has appeared around the globe. Along with writer Carson Demmans, he is the illustrator behind the bestsellers You Might Be From Saskatchewan If and Strange Saskatchewan.
Award winning author Mark Allard-Will describes the book this way: "Saskatchewan is a place that has charmed my heart with its intrigue, oddity and communal warmth since I first arrived. Jason masterfully captures these sentiments and more with his art in Colour Saskatchewan.
Hayley Wickenheiser, Patricia Katz, Andrew Salgado, Owen Geni, Alex Runions among many others will be colouring their favourite image in the book to be put up for auction for Creative Kids, a charitable giving program that helps enable low-income children and youth participate in arts and culture activities. A portion of the proceeds from each book will also go to support Creative Kids.
